Things are about to get ugly!

Ladles and Linens owner Sarah Nicholas parnered up with her bestie Kathleen George to host an epic holiday party, and things got ugly!

People were encouraged to wear their ugliest, tackiest holiday sweaters, and people went all out. Sarah's family had a feline theme. Co-host Kathleen had a beer pong sweater, complete with velcro balls you could throw onto them. It was the source of much amusement.

Even more amusing was the karaoke set-up, where David Bowie, Mariah Carey and Talking Heads songs were sung at full blast. Even Chrstmas songs were in rotation, drawing huddled crowds that shared the microphone!

Kathleen's home was impeccably decorated, with eucaluptus garland, muted pinks and painted shells rimmed with gold. Multiple trees twinkled throughout the home, and the mantle was adorned with whimsy.

And since Sarah was in charge of the spread, guests were treated to elegant displays of foods not found at your everyday party. Cubes of cheese topped with chopped pistchios in the shape of a Christmas tree, buttery caramelized onion tarts, and macarons nestled upright in festive bowls of sprinkles. There was beauty in the abundance and everything was absolutely scrumptious.
